When you’re buying a new home, especially in South Florida, the building materials used are important. They can affect how strong the building is, which could be crucial in a hurricane zone. There will also be differences in the initial cost and ongoing maintenance expenses, along with other considerations. In South Florida, most properties will either be CBS or wood frame construction. At Parrot Bay Homes, we offer both services, ensuring you have options that meet your needs.

Our Process

Renovating your entire home is a big undertaking which is why Parrot Bay Homes will guide you through each project stage, from design and planning to demolition and construction, to give you greater peace of mind. We have a transparent renovation process to ensure the finished work not only looks great, but also makes your home feel like a dream to live in. Our goal is to produce a full home renovation that fits your lifestyle and personal taste, not the other way around.

The first step is to have a home renovation specialist take measurements and notes of how your home can be customized to improve your quality of life and achieve your design vision. Next, we evaluate your layout requirements, structural and plumbing changes, cabinets, countertops, flooring, and more to create a plan that will work best for your home and needs. Once the plan and permits are finished, we begin work all while minimizing disruption to your home life.

Jim accompanies an architect engineer and designer to your residence for serious customer. Jim Monde will be there till the end to hand you your key to your American dream home.

Jim Monde

CEO, Parrot Bay Homes

"I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Jupiter at age 11 where my family, and I continue to live and love today.  I made the decision that I wanted to be a builder at 7 years old back in Cleveland where I was building state of the art tree forts in my backyard. When I was 12 years old,  my parents had some remodeling work done on their home in Jupiter.  They enclosed a car port converting it into a patio with a 42 inch high privacy wall around it.

The contractor they had hired caught onto my willingness to want to help very quickly, and I  began mixing concrete for him in a concrete mixer and serving it up to his masons. The next thing you know he was paying me for my labor during my summer breaks and working all around West Palm Beach. Quickly I rose through the ranks having become a Florida State Certified Contractor at age 23 that was back in 1983!  Wow, time flies, together my team and I started building over 100 plus homes a year, almost immediately. I don’t have some fluffy resume nor am I able to say that I went to some ivy league school, what I do have is a ton of experience owning my construction company all my life and building the American dream for hundreds of great people. I know that I  made a huge difference in people’s lives, and I am darn proud of that!

My team and I have always worked hard to manage the customer experience.  I understand that you have very high expectations, and our job is to fulfill them.  We know that your experience is our reputation, and our reputation is everything.  I have always maintained great friendships and lifelong relationships with my customers. So if you are considering building a new home, please consider us.  I promise you that I will do everything I can to make your building experience a pleasurable one."

Rescue + Freedom Project

Parrot Bay Homes supports the Rescue + Freedom Project. Few folks realize that 97% of all laboratory testing on dogs is done on Beagles. The Rescue + Freedom Project's mission is to rescue beagles used in animal experimentation in research laboratories and give them a chance at life in a loving, forever home.

Read rescue stories, watch videos, learn more about beagles used in animal testing, and how you can help.
